Culture is Communication: Cross-Cultural Awareness with Jenny Plaister-Ten

You are warmly invited to join us for our second edition of the Cross-Cultural Awareness program for 2025. These sessions aim to foster and enhance cultural awareness and intercultural skills in the EMCC APR community.

About the Session: 27th May 2025

We will be joined by Jenny Plaister-Ten​, a global leadership coach, team coach supervisor, intercultural trainer and certified to work inter-culturally (the International Profiler, TIP, and Cultural Intelligence, CQ).

Jenny will explore how, when coaching or working with people from other cultures, we can experience differences in communication patterns, emotional displays and other behaviours that will not make sense to us unless we are familiar with the cultural norms. Her talk will share some watch-outs, insights and tips to broaden your cross-cultural awareness.
