Welcome to our third EMCC APR Ethics and Coaching 2024 meet. We are delighted to host our speaker Andrea Giraldez-Hayes, PhD, for an in-depth exploration of ethical practice in coaching with creativity.
"Creative and arts-based coaching approaches have garnered significant attention in recent years. This webinar will invite reflection and discussion to explore the importance of adopting an ethical stance when integrating creativity and art into coaching practices. The session will provide a compelling case for moral considerations and offer hands-on activities to illustrate key theoretical concepts."
About the session
About Ethics and Coaching
As practising professional coaches, we have a duty of care towards our clients, society at large, and lest we forget, to ourselves. How can we be actionable with our duty of care? Through the EMCC APR Ethics and Coaching meet, we aim to bring insights and answers to this question, by delving into the enquiry "what is ethics, what is society asking of us when it comes to being ethical, what is my definition of ethics, and how do I want to put ethics into my practice?" As W.B. Yeats penned, "The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper." Indeed, the world of ethics is full of magic things too.
Hence, the invitation is to take part in the discussions to set the standards of best practices in coaching in ethical terms and advocate the norms of behaviour that everyone in coaching, mentoring, and supervision should follow.
