Dr. Shae Wissell is an esteemed advocate, researcher, and entrepreneur in the field of dyslexia. With a rich educational background and extensive experience in health, not-for-profit, and social enterprise sectors, she founded re:think dyslexia and the Dear Dyslexic Foundation. Shae leverages her diverse skills and personal experience with dyslexia to offer coaching and advisory services to individuals, entrepreneurs, and organisations shaping inclusive workplace policies and programs. Her expertise in dyslexia and learning differences helps organisations embrace diversity and inclusion, supporting the success of neurodiverse employees.
Her research which has been published internationally concentrates on the lived-experiences of adults with dyslexia in Australia, exploring their challenges in healthcare, education, employment, and social well-being.Shae has received numerous awards and recognition for her research and work. She is a skilled public speaker, podcast host, and best-selling author of "The Hobo CEO: A Year in the Life of a Dyslexic Social Entrepreneur."
