About the Conference

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) forms the heart of EMCC's purpose to develop, promote, and set the expectation of best practice in mentoring, coaching, and supervision globally for the benefit of society. Diversity of the EMCC Family is its core strength.

With this aim in mind, EMCC Asia Pacific is proud to be hosting its first EMCC DEI conference coming November to recognise, honour and raise consciousness on the purpose and value of diversity, equity and inclusion.

The conference has been structured specifically for coaches, mentors, corporate internal coaches and Senior HR leaders who are looking to reflect on aspects of inclusive communities, what's currently working well in the DEI space, and what a co-created DEI future might look like.

Across a two-week period from 10-24th November, the DEI conference will be a hybrid experience combining international online sessions, country-specific webinars and in-person meetings.

We've done this so attendees can go deeper into what DEI means on an individual level - given that diversity, equity and inclusion manifests differently in different locations.

This conference is a call to our members to feel respected, valued, trusted, safe, and to have a sense of belonging through:

An introduction to the EMCC Five Pillars of Inclusive Communities model
Discussions and case studies on demystifying the 'Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Agenda' (the 'IDEA')
Support for individuals and corporates to be more confident in demonstrating equity as a value, inclusion as an emotion and diversity through reflexive and reflective actions
Further support to confront discrimination and champion equal opportunities and
An introduction to our wider network and the EMCC Values, Vision and Global Ethics.
